Pulmonology Coder

A company is looking for a Specialty Coder Senior with expertise in Pulmonology.

Key Responsibilities

Review clinical documentation and diagnostic results to assign accurate ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT codes

Maintain a coding accuracy rate of 95% or higher

Abstract data into electronic medical record systems, ensuring accurate patient dispositions and physician data

Required Qualifications

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience : Proven experience in inpatient and / or outpatient coding with a focus on specialty areas

Certifications in relevant coding fields

Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and official coding guidelines

Ability to work independently and maintain high accuracy standards
