Senior Cloud Reliability Engineer (AWS)

Pay Rate : $70 / hr - $75 / hr on W2

Position Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud AWS Engineer IV to drive reliability, automation, and observability practices across cloud foundational platforms in a large-scale enterprise environment. In this role, you will serve as a key member of a cloud platform squad with a focus on Cloud Networking , SRE best practices , and Infrastructure Automation .

You will develop automation, instrumentation, and monitoring solutions that enhance platform stability, improve service health, and reduce operational toil. This position is ideal for engineers passionate about AWS , IaC (Terraform) , Python or Go , metrics / tracing , and cloud service resilience at scale .

Key Responsibilities :

• Champion SRE culture and influence reliability best practices across cloud platform teams.
• Design, develop, and maintain automations, scripts, and reusable software utilities to eliminate manual work and improve reliability.
• Build and maintain synthetic monitoring (canaries) to measure service health.
• Lead SLI / SLO / Error Budget development in partnership with product and platform teams.
• Implement full-stack observability (logs, metrics, traces) for cloud network components including VPC, VPN Tunnels, GWLB, Transit Gateway , etc.
• Utilize tools such as Dynatrace, SevOne, Grafana, Prometheus, AWS CloudWatch, AWS Canary, AWS EventBridge .
• Respond to and resolve production incidents with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Use Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to provision and manage AWS resources.
• Drive standardization and create reusable artifacts to scale SRE practices across the organization.
• Collaborate in Agile / Scaled Agile environments to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.
• Support infrastructure for large, multi-service enterprise applications .
