We are looking for a dedicated part-time Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our Christian non-profit organization in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Responsibilities :
- Manage fund accounting processes, including complex project allocations and detailed financial tracking within QuickBooks Online.
- Prepare and oversee payroll processing for a workforce of 450 employees, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with organizational standards.
- Perform detailed financial reconciliations across accounts to maintain accuracy and organizational stability.
- Generate comprehensive financial reports and manage journal entries with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and custom formulas to optimize reporting and troubleshoot errors.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including non-finance departments, to ensure transparent communication of financial insights.
- Serve as the backup for payroll processing and manage smaller payroll tasks during month-end cycles.
- Maintain compliance with tax regulations, including corporate tax returns and sales tax filings.
- Leverage Paycom tools for payroll processing and reporting to meet organizational and regulatory needs.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on fund or project accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced knowledge of accounting principles.
- Experience managing payroll for a high-volume workforce, ideally with Paycom payroll software.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
