ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Ranson, West Virginia. Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule The shift required for this position is a full-time night shift, working from 7 PM to 7 AM. Rotating weekends and holidays are also part of the schedule. Job Description The SCU / Telemetry Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the Surgical Care Unit and Telemetry unit. The patient population includes a diverse range of diagnoses, from trauma to surgical patients requiring monitoring. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients, monitoring vital signs and administering medications. Assist in the management of patients on ventilators and other respiratory support systems. Collaborate with healthcare teams, including hospitalists and intensivists. Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system (EpicCare). Float to MedSurg if necessary, with a patient ratio of 1 : 5-6. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current and unexpired nursing license. Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
