Job Description
Nurse Assistant Training Instructor Needed
- Primary duties : teach and evaluate students in classroom and clinical settings, following the Quality CNA Training curriculum to prepare students for the workforce and / or higher education. Students complete knowledge-based learning online. Instructors work with clinical sites to provide a quality training experience that meets state and company regulations and guidelines.
Hours : Full-Time and Part-Time day positions available
Salary : Based on experience; training provided if no prior experience.
Position Summary : Primary responsibilities include teaching and evaluating the student's skills performance, maintaining a conducive and productive learning environment, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. Instructors coordinate with clinical sites and the administrative team to support student success.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Meet each student's learning needs by incorporating a variety of teaching methods and assessments.Plan, coordinate, manage, and direct the skills lab and clinical setting for the students.Evaluate interpersonal skills, technical skills, and knowledge base of students in the skill lab and clinical setting at regular intervals to measure student performance.Maintain confidential, accurate and complete records and reports as required by state, federal, and Quality CNA Training LLC regulations and policies.Maintain a professional, clean, and safe learning environment.Build and maintain an ongoing cooperative working relationship with training and clinical site partners and staff.Complete and submit course records and reports in a timely manner, meeting required deadlines.Remain current on state regulations and training standards.Coordinate and communicate with the administrative team when appropriate.Coordinate and communicate with the social media team when appropriate.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Ability to successfully complete appropriate instructor training as required by Quality CNA Training LLC and the State of WIExperience with adult education helpful but not requiredKnowledge and experience in the area of long-term careAbility to work with diverse populations, including students with a wide range of knowledge, abilities, and backgroundsAbility to lift a minimum of 35 pounds and actively participate in an 8-hour clinical rotationQualifications :
Current, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the State of WITwo years of work experience as a Registered NurseOne year of work experience as an RN in a long-term care settingHow to Apply :
