Job Description

The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient handling of all incoming and outgoing mail and packages. This position is responsible for receiving, sorting, and distributing mail in accordance with established service standards, as well as preparing outbound shipments and accurately entering packing information into the appropriate shipping systems. The ideal candidate brings exceptional customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels, couriers, and vendors. Success in this role requires adaptability, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced, and rapidly growing environment.

What you’ll get to do :

• Receive and process incoming mail and packages, ensuring timely and accurate distribution by proactively communicating with recipients and coordinating delivery as needed.
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments using a variety of shipping and logistics carriers, leveraging postage meters, scales, and digital shipping systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
• Track inbound and outbound shipments using various software.
• Manage and coordinate courier services for timely deliveries.
• Generate monthly shipment cost reports by department, providing insights and trends to support budget tracking and operational efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient mailroom environment while monitoring and replenishing inventory of mailroom supplies and comply with safety standards.
• Monitor and update mailing equipment as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholder.
• Help transport or receive materials and furniture for office reconfigurations or events, coordinating closely with Facilities team.
• Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
