Job descriptionProvide nursing care to pediatric patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments Assist physicians in examination of patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary Administer medications as prescribed Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products Interact with family and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and discharge Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel Delegate tasks to support staff One year of nursing experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License required Current Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required PALS (American Heart Association) certification required Strong verbal and written communication skills required Computer skills necessary Referral bonus
