Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU position with night shifts and current OK or compact RN license required.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
  • Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
  • Cares for pediatric CVICU patients with a range of acuity from simple to complex
  • Assignment involves managing patient interventions including IV infusions and blood products
  • Responsible for direct care, assessment, administering medications, and assisting with minor diagnostic procedures
  • Initiates, monitors, and regulates IV infusions and blood products
  • Documents patient responses to interventions and collaborates with physicians and families on care plans
  • Expected to delegate tasks to support staff as necessary
  • Must respond effectively to diverse cultural and language needs of patients and visitors

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active Oklahoma or compact RN license in hand
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (50 mile radius rule; no local candidates accepted)
