About the Role :
The Associate Director, Patient Services Partner Relations oversees key vendor partnerships that support Insmed's patient services programs. This role manages contracts, performance, and day-to-day operations across specialty pharmacies, hub providers, and patient assistance programs to ensure service excellence, compliance, and alignment with Insmed's strategic goals. The Associate Director, Patient Services Partner Relations is responsible for leading and optimizing vendor partnerships that support Insmed's patient services programs, including specialty pharmacies, patient assistance programs, and hub service providers. This role serves as the primary liaison for vendor operations, overseeing contracts, budgets, performance management, and issue resolution. You will drive alignment across internal stakeholders and external partners by balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day execution. This will involve strong collaboration, vendor governance, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives across therapeutic areas, ensuring that each partnership contributes to Insmed's broader patient services strategy and organizational goals. This position reports to the Director of Patient Services Operations and will be remote.
Responsibilities
Additional representative responsibilities will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following :
- Serve as primary Patient Services point of contact for vendor relations, specialty pharmacy operations, and Insmed's patient assistance program.
- Manage day-to-day operations across all patient services vendors, ensuring adherence to governance protocols, internal processes, and contracts.
- Partner with Patient Services stakeholders, Finance, Procurement, and Contracting to develop or renew Statements of Work (SOWs) and Task Orders (TOs), including vendor budgets and deliverables.
- Align with cross-functional teams to understand priorities and inform program design and strategy based on customer / patient needs, outcomes, and market dynamics.
- Oversee vendor performance to ensure deliverables meet expectations and agreed upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Lead escalation governance for urgent vendor issues, case progression blockers, and specialty pharmacy escalations.
- Act as integration project lead when new vendors or external partnerships are added.
- Develop, maintain, and manage Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), including execution, approvals, change management, and version control, ensuring alignment with vendor SOPs and process flows.
- Facilitate vendor training, audits, quality compliance monitoring, and issue resolution processes, including stakeholder communication of risks, non-compliance, and remediation plans.
- Partner with the Channel and Distribution team to support specialty pharmacy operations.
- Plan and project manage execution of prioritized vendor milestones and deliverables, communicating status and risks across stakeholders.
- Maintain oversight of vendor performance to identify opportunities for operational enhancements and continual improvement, supporting enterprise and program-specific business reviews.
Qualifications
