Title : Pulmonary / Med-Surg RN – Alachua, FL

Employment Type : Full-Time, Permanent

Shifts : Nights, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (rotating weekends)

Compensation : $30.69 – $43.20 / hr (based on experience)

Differentials : +$4.25 / hr (Nights) | +$3.00 / hr (Weekends)

Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 (Days) | $25,000 (Nights)

Relocation : $2,500–$5,000 (100+ miles)

Overview

Join our team as a Pulmonary / Med-Surg RN near Alachua, FL. This role supports a busy 45-bed unit treating pulmonary patients and those with medical-surgical needs. With a 7 : 1 nurse-to-patient ratio, this unit offers excellent exposure to complex cases and provides strong support for career growth.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care for pulmonary and general medical patients.

Monitor respiratory conditions, assess changes, and act quickly in emergencies.

Administer medications and therapies per physician orders.

Educate patients and families about ongoing care and recovery.

Collaborate with a team of physicians, respiratory therapists, and nurses.

Qualifications

Florida or Compact RN license required.

At least 1 year of recent acute care RN experience.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN / Diploma required; BSN preferred).

BLS certification required; NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days; ACLS within 6 months.
