Responsibilities :
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Prepare and review payroll, sales tax and 1099 filings
- Assist with monthly and annual closing processes, budgeting and forecasting
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Communicate with clients to address accounting and compliance questions
- Stay current with evolving accounting standards and best practices
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping or financeStrong knowledge of accounting principles and regulationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks and other accounting softwareStrong analytical, communication and organizational skillsReilly, Penner and Benton is an equal opportunity employer
