As the Product Manager for this group, you own developer monetization, enabling creators to grow the economy of their games—and in turn, the platform. You drive innovation to help creators maximize their earnings by making transactions seamless and secure. You define and execute the strategy to help developers better monetize both existing and new games, while ensuring users enjoy the best possible experience. You shape personalization for users as it relates to developer products and games, and champion automation that delivers meaningful outcomes for developers, users, and the platform alike.

The role is based in San Mateo, CA (hybrid with Tues-Thurs onsite).
You will :
- Drive the product strategy and vision for an innovative developer monetization platform on Roblox, leading the industry in defining ways in which users and developers can find value on this platform.
- Have full responsibility for developing features and capabilities to facilitate in-app monetization through developer products and optimize pricing, while minimizing Roblox’s exposure to fraud and abuse
- Partner with other product, design, engineering and business stakeholders at Roblox, and drive strategic alignment. Enroll other teams into your product vision and align roadmaps to ensure cohesive product functionality and value proposition.
- Work closely with cross-functional partners to define scope, review technical capabilities, prioritize projects for release, and define new opportunities
- Lead and facilitate brainstorming, then take these early ideas and iterate, experiment, and build
- Defend your POV against skeptics, while being open to feedback and adapting your ideas to deliver the best output
- Use relentless customer understanding and empathy to discover and define the right problems and products we should be pursuing
- Balance and prioritize new features with existing backlog initiatives and align them with the product vision.
You Have :
3+ years of product management experience, with experience in the in-app monetization, game analytics and pricingEntrepreneurial drive : Worked in a fast paced environment, with competing resources and priorities, through the product life cycle from planning, development, through to launch. Strong opinions and a willingness to make calls with limited information. Comfort advocating for resources and operating in a dynamic, fluid organization. A high degree of self-direction and a get stuff done attitude.Technical mindset : Comfort delving into the product, platform and implementation details. Ability to roll up your sleeves and engage with engineering to design scalable and extensible solutionsData-driven approach : Proficiency identifying, defining, tracking and acting upon metrics. Familiarity with experimentation and A / B testing methods. Experience identifying KPIs and working with engineering and analytics on instrumentation and monitoring.Strong written and verbal communication skills : Ability to convey strategies, priorities, and tradeoffs at the 30K foot level, as well as produce clear and detailed product and technical specifications
