Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night Shift : 4x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15) Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care for medical-surgical patients, including adults and geriatrics. The nurse will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring patients, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Charge nurse experience is required for night shifts. Responsibilities Manage medications including heparin and insulin drips. Utilize high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) for respiratory support. Perform wound care and management, including wound vac dressing changes. Monitor cardiac activity and respond to dysrhythmias. Adhere to isolation precautions and collaborate with the interdisciplinary support team. Float to similar units and alternate care locations as needed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting. Charge nurse experience preferred for night shifts.
