Job Details

Responsibilities :

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for :

1. Developing high-quality software design and architecture.

2. Identifying, prioritizing, and executing tasks in the software development life cycle.

3. Developing tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.

4. Automating tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.

5. Reviewing and debugging code.

6. Performing validation and verification testing.

7. Collaborating with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.

8. Documenting development phases and monitor systems.

9. Ensuring software is up-to-date with the latest technologies.

10. Leading and mentoring junior developers, as well as collaborating with team members to set objectives, identify bottlenecks, and resolve technical issues.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2. 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.

3. Proven experience with programming languages such as Rails, Ruby on Rails, Django, Angular, and React.

4. Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.

5. Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. C++, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks / systems (e.g. AngularJS, Git).

6. Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks.

7. Ability to learn new languages and technologies.

8. Excellent communication skills.

9. Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.

10. Attention to detail.

11. Leadership and team management skills.
