Senior Accountant CPA

Beacon Hill Financial is working with a company in Downtown D.C. to bring a Senior Accountant to their team. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, combining both in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, an ability to analyze and interpret financial data, and a proven track record in supporting accurate and timely financial reporting in a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• CPA candidate

Manage general ledger accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Support audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.

Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations.

Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
