We offer Regular Full-time status Material Handler's a starting wage of $19.00 per hour plus eligibility for quarterly incentive bonuses, and benefits that includes medical, dental, vision, life, LTD, 401(k) with up to 5% company match, 3 weeks of PTO within the first year, and a safety shoe allowance.

Position responsibilities :

Receives product into the Distribution Center and ensures shipments received are in good condition and accurate by : inspecting freight for damage and signing freight bills;

verifying quantity ordered versus quantity received; checking all shipments against packing lists; and completing necessary paperwork for reimbursements or discrepancies.

• Ensures all required product has verified bar code labels and human readable Johnstone stock numbers by scanning products, printing labels, resolving labeling discrepancies, and completing necessary paperwork.
• Stores checked-in products by stocking picking stock, filling bin boxes, facing cartons, checking for product mixing, and rotating product where needed.
• Ensures products are readily available to order fillers by : monitoring stock on shelves or bins; replenishing picking stock from reserves;

maintaining control of products in reserve stock area; and monitoring "Pull Tickets" and giving priority to Shipping department requests.

• Maintains current department accuracy and efficiency standards, and follows department standard operating procedures.
• Maintains a safe work environment by working in a safe manner, following current Distribution safety rules, maintaining equipment, and maintaining a clean work area.
• Completing any additional tasks or duties designated by the Distribution Center Supervisor.

Position requirements :

Education and / or Experience : High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and / or training;

or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk on a concrete floor through a warehouse for the majority of the workday.

The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and lift up to 50 pounds.

The individual is occasionally required to talk or hear; and lift up to 70 pounds. Special vision requirements are distance vision;

peripheral vision, and color vision.
