Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the lending team by working within loan analysis software to input and review tax returns, debt schedules, personal financial statements, collateral, and appraisal data. Assist in preparing, tracking, and analyzing credit and financial information-including balance sheets, income statements, projections, credit scoring, global cash flow, and stress testing-to help determine each borrower's financial strength and repayment ability. Contribute to the preparation of clear, thorough credit presentations for use by loan officers and committees, ensuring every decision is grounded in accuracy and care.
- Monitor overall compliance with Bank's Appraisal Policy, prepare internal evaluations for loans that meet the requirements, manage the ordering and receipt of appraisals, perform appraisal reviews, addendums, and endorsements, and re-evaluate commercial appraisals at the time of subsequent renewal.
- Assist in preparing various reports for monthly and quarterly Board presentations. Help assist in providing regulators and auditors with timely, accurate information to demonstrate the Bank's compliance with loan review policies, procedures, and reserve adequacy methods. Your attention to detail in reporting helps ensure transparency and reliability at every level.
- Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, the Office of Foreign Assets Control and security policies and procedures.
- All employees are expected to actively promote Legacy Bank to existing and prospective customers in order to obtain and build the Bank's customer base and thereby enhance Legacy Bank's growth and profitability.
Requirements
A college degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.0-2 years of experience in credit, banking, or a related financial field; recent graduates with relevant coursework or internships are encouraged to apply.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail for reviewing financial documents and ensuring compliance.Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal).Preferred Technical Skills (Not required, but will set you apart)
