Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager in California for day shifts and Epic EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital case management unit
  • Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 to 16 : 30
  • Assignment length is 13 weeks
  • Required to work two weekends every six weeks
  • Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state
  • Pre-start and annual training modules must be completed prior to assignment
  • Returning travelers must wait at least 3 months before returning
  • All requested time off must be declared during application to be considered
  • Scrub or dress code details will be provided upon assignment
  • Accepts local candidates at a lower rate per local rule

    • Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent case management experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of comparable employment within the last 3 years
  • Must not have worked as a permanent staff member at this facility within the last 3 months
  • Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
