Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Columbus, Ohio (43210) – Ohio healthcare jobs Unit : 3 Dodd Rehabilitation – Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Assignment Type : Travel RN contract Start Date : January 5, 2026 End Date : April 6, 2026 Duration : 13-week nursing assignment Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts (07 : 00am – 7 : 00pm) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1720-$1770 Patient Ratio : 1 : 5 Weekend Coverage : Required Float : May float to other hospital units Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg or Telemetry RN experience Active Registered Nurse license (compact or Ohio RN license) Graduate of ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program BLS certification required EPIC charting experience required ACLS and CPI certifications preferred Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only) Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly Two professional references (one from a manager / director or supervisor) Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with brain and spinal cord injuries in a rehabilitation hospital setting Perform IV starts, medication administration, patient monitoring, and wound care Educate patients and families on care plans and rehabilitation processes Document patient care using EPIC electronic health records Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services Manage patient safety, fall risk assessment, and infection prevention Float to other nursing units as needed Participate in orientation and comply with facility policies Discover the energy and culture of Columbus, Ohio while making a difference in patient lives.
