The Data Entry Clerk at Webcraft Stylers is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in the company’s database.
The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to handle large volumes of data, and proficiency in data entry software and systems.
The Data Entry Clerk plays a critical role in supporting various departments by ensuring the integrity and accuracy of information.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and update data into company databases and systems.
- Review and verify the accuracy of information and correct any discrepancies.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both digital and paper records.
- Compile, sort, and organize data before entering it into the system.
- Prepare data for reports and presentations as requested by management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure all necessary data is captured.
- Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive company and customer information.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data cleanup and organizing files.
- Follow data program techniques and procedures to maintain data integrity.
- Perform regular data backups to secure company information.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is a plus.
- Previous experience in a data entry or administrative role is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with database software and data entry systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
