Description :

This is an opportunity for a 13-week contract in a level III trauma center.

The facility includes state-of-the-art operating suites.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery.

Experience with cervical exams and assisting with infant deliveries is essential.

Candidates must have charge-level experience and practice in a community hospital setting.

Required skills include fetal monitoring and the stabilization of neonates.

Good triage assessment skills are preferred.

Common diagnoses in this specialty include labor, gestational diabetes, and hypertension.

Candidates should have a nursing degree, either ADN or BSN.

The unit has 17 beds with a patient ratio that meets regulatory standards.

Equipment used includes fetal monitors and specialized electronic health records.
