Manager, Contracts

We have an opening for a Manager, Contracts supporting the Electro-Optical Infrared Solutions (EOIRS) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) within Raytheon's Advanced Products (APS) and Solutions Strategic Business Unit (SBU). This role supports the Improved Target Acquisition System (ITAS) programs, which are designed to provide improved target acquisition and fire control in both ground and HMMWV-mounted configurations. The ITAS program provides the Global Army program area key financials and continues to be integral for the Warfighter.
The Manager, Contracts will report to the Senior Manager, Contracts for EOIRS Army Programs.
What You Will Do
Directly interface with internal and external government and non-government customers contractual matters, including contract adherence, Requests for Information (RFIs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs).
Provide recommendations to the program team in carrying out the terms of the contract, offering solutions to mitigate contractual / program risks, acting as a focal point of contact with the customer for all contractual matters and change management.
Lead both in-person and virtual negotiations to resolve complex contractual issues.
Collaborate cross-functionally with program management, engineering, supply chain, quality, and finance teams to resolve conflicts and implement solutions.
Utilize critical thinking to analyze and dissect detailed information to develop a contract-centric point of view to contribute to problem-solving discussions with relevant stakeholders.
Provide Contractual input for weekly and monthly program and finance reviews.
Review and understand contractual requirements and support the preparation, submission, and negotiation of proposals, as well as management of the contract portfolio.
Support contract implementation discussions to ensure compliance with internal policies / procedures and the regulatory environment, while ensuring business / financial goals are achieved.
Identify risks, assess performance requirements scope applicability, advise management of contractual rights and obligations, and managing the contracts in the portfolio post-award.
Travel up to once a month to our McKinney, TX site.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience.
Experience in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and / or Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) contracting.
Experience with one or more of the following : Contracts Administration / Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Acquisitions.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the companys performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
