Supervisor of Engineering Maintenance
The Supervisor of Engineering Maintenance provides maintenance, regulatory compliance, and systems management services for hospital facilities under the direction of the Director of Engineering. This position assesses, prioritizes, assigns, troubleshoots, and procures facility maintenance and compliance requiring design, life-cycle planning, repair, replacement, or new installation. This position performs duties in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, building standards, and hospital policies. The Supervisor Engineering Maintenance manages the personnel and work processes to successfully undertake and complete the facility maintenance, compliance, and operational functions to provide a comfortable and safe hospital environment.

What You Can Expect
- Ensure that facility safety and regulatory requirements are met.
- Maintain appropriate documentation for facility equipment, systems, and components.
- Maintain hospital computerized maintenance management system through the appropriate assignment of work orders, development, and assignment of preventative maintenance orders, completion of work orders, and the recording equipment history.
- Maintain inventory of facility replacement equipment and components at appropriate levels.
- Manage contracts for facility equipment, systems, and components maintained by contractors or vendors.
- Participate in people management activities for direct team members such as conducting performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and interviews.
- Perform facility and systems management including PM development, repairs and maintenance, safety, risk, scheduling, quality control, budgeting, procurement, facility and system assessments, and life-cycle planning.
- Provide funding requests for operational, non-threshold capital, and threshold capital facility needs in alignment with submitted operational, non-threshold, and threshold budgets.
- Provide quality control for maintenance, new installations or replacements of facility equipment, systems, and components performed by others.
- Supervise the work of others and manage the performance of individuals through feedback and recommendations
Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Business Management or Engineering requiredBachelor's Degree preferred5 years of relevant engineering / construction field experience required5 years of relevant hospital maintenance or construction experience preferredCertified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM), and / or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferredTravel is required : Never or Rarely
