Job description$20.00 per / hour Retail Sales Associate Responsibilities : Act in a professional manner, greeting customers, facilitating sales, and ensuring exceptional customer experience Advising customers on cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and interests Keeping up to date with the cannabis industry standards, new products, strains, and changes in laws, as well as industry trends Processes customer transactions using Velvet’s Point of Sale (POS) system. Ensuring the dispensary is clean, stocked, and well-organized at all times Educating customers on the safe use of cannabis products provided at Velvet Dispensary Upsells when appropriate; promote current sales, promotions, discounts, etc. Verifying proper identification of customers to verify they are of legal age to purchase and consume products offered Maintains the professional appearance of the sales floor Inventory of cannabis products Ensuring sales floor is always stocked and well-organized Assisting in various dispensary operations while maintaining hygienic conditions.
