Serving as a practice leader and primary client contact, you will provide eDiscovery support leveraging a broad range of technologies and best practices to uncover and manage data‑based evidence and intelligence across a variety of legal and regulatory situations. You will be directly responsible for engagement quality and success.
- Primary point of client contact for projects involving identification, collection, processing, review, and production of electronically stored data (ESI) relevant to litigation or investigations.
- Collaborate with clients to implement efficient workflows, proactively identify and mitigate risk, and apply quality control best practices.
- Lead a broad team of junior professionals responsible for supporting each phase of delivery.
- Communicate proactively with clients and team members about upcoming commitments, deadlines, project status, and delivery issues.
- Maintain consistent communication and coordination with clients to ensure timely and cost‑efficient delivery of all required support tasks.
- Responsible for end‑to‑end project management, including planning, resourcing, organizing, and staffing on all active engagements.
- Lead external and internal meetings to review work results.
- Ensure eDiscovery best practices are followed to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of analysis through quality control checks.
- Show proven expertise in leading eDiscovery tools, including Relativity and Brainspace.
- Prepare and update thorough documentation of progress and milestones, including summaries of team’s delivery efforts.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and streamlining.
Core Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, data science, or related field.At least 10 years of relevant professional experience.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.Excellent project management and organizational skills, managing and prioritizing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.Exceptional client service and follow‑up skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Fast learner eager to adopt new technologies in a fast‑paced environment.Preferred Attributes
Expertise in industry‑standard review and production tools such as Relativity, Reveal, Nuix, or Brainspace.Extensive experience with standard eDiscovery methodology and best practices, with at least 7 years of client service delivery.Sound technical understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).Experience using Relativity Server and Relativity One as close users or database administrators.Experience with document review management is beneficial.J.D. preferred but not required.Why Join Alvarez & Marsal
