My client provides Construction Management, Specialty Contracting, and General Contracting services to clients in the Commercial and Industrial markets. With self-perform profit areas across Concrete, Steel Erection, and PEMB Erection, this company employs specialists in those fields to oversee project sites. We are seeking a well-rounded General Construction Superintendent able to manage a full-cycle project. This role will require moderate travel across the Gulf Coast area (Biloxi to Panama City) but overall very minimal when compared to many companies of similar size and scope.

Job Description

Develop the Project Vision and Create the Project Schedule

Supervise entire construction staff, ensuring project deadlines are met

Ability to predict and overcome project challenges

Maintain a strong relationship with Project Managers, Foreman, and external stakeholders

Lead weekly meetings to ensure the team is working together successfully and delivering quality work

Maintain OSHA requirements

Mentor less experienced construction professionals

Track project documentation, tasks, issues, etc.

The Successful Applicant

10+ years of Commercial or Industrial Superintendent experience

Ability to run ground-up projects from start to finish

Knowledge of scheduling, estimating, and cost principles.

Basic knowledge of project management Software

A mature professional with excellent judgment.

A highly entrepreneurial, self-motivated and results-oriented individual.

Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and intuitive interpersonal skills.

Strong time management skills, adaptable with ability to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines, and keen attention to detail

Desire to work across the Mobile, AL area long-term
