Job descriptionProduces all elements of : Walk ALS Peoria, Walk ALS Champaign, Walk ALS Northern Illinois Elements include : participant recruitment, team retention, event sponsorship, logistics, communication, donor stewardship, event website, kick-off events, list management, reports, etc. Actively engage members of the ALS community Identify opportunities in each market to increase visibility and foster stronger community ties Serve as a spokesperson for the organization in media interviews, community forums, and public appearances Cultivate partnerships in new or underserved regions, supporting strategic growth initiatives Manage DIY program within territory Activate Bark ALS Support Care Services Coordinator Build Team ALS runners within territory 3+ years of progressive peer-to-peer fundraising experience 1+ year active in a Walk program Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Blackbaud, Raisers Edge, WordPress Ability to travel for work-related engagements Willingness to work evenings and weekends for special projects and / or events Strong organizational and time management skills to balance territory travel with local responsibilities Based in Central Illinois Self-Starter Idea Generator Goal Motivated Passionate Creative Team Player Genuine Networker
