Schedule : 9 : 00am - 2 : 00pm, Mon - Fri

BBSI is partnering with a values-driven plumbing company to find a dedicated Part-Time Administrative Office Clerk. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting customers, vendors, and contractors while working in a collaborative, close-knit team environment. The position offers the potential to transition into full-time, with growth opportunities and performance-based raises.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Perform general administrative and office tasks (billing, filing, invoicing, proposals, etc.)
  • Answer phones, handle incoming emails, and maintain polite, professional communication
  • Order job-specific Certificates of Insurance and prepare proposals
  • Distribute project information to internal teams and vendors
  • Set up new customers, projects, and budgets in Spectrum (training provided)
  • Provide administrative support to the office staff and leadership team
  • Prepare and organize new hire packets and employee files
  • Handle data entry and assist with office organization
  • Track inspection logs, Skilled & Trained Workforce documentation, and contractor insurance compliance
  • Follow up with contractors, vendors, or staff to gather project information

Qualifications / Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Administrative or Office experience, preferably in construction or plumbing (not required)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Must be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a small, family-oriented environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and capable of learning new software quickly
  • Typing speed of at least 50 WPM with accuracy
