Manages the daily operations of the assigned department or function to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives. Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization. Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll. Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems / equipment / supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and / or stock supplies. Supports special projects and business analysis as requested. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements : Bachelor's degree, Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered / Professional Nursing program. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). 3 years of experience in nursing quality. 3 years of leadership experience with teams. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
