Job descriptionCommunicate & schedule w / painters & customers Direct all painters to achieve completion of the projects on schedule, within the man hours budgeted for this project Ability to hire & fire Give reviews & raises Maintain equipment & warehouse (sprayers, generators, etc.) Be proficient in scaffolding, swing stage & high reach equipment Ability to read blueprints Ability to manage up to 30 people (foremen & painters) Lead and participate in safety training Ability to maintain inventory for projects; order materials and avoid over-ordering. Manage conflict – identify root cause and address promptly Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation Experience in commercial painting w / paint & primers, brush / roll & spray techniques Prior management experience of paint crews Strong organizational skills in field and office Solid written and verbal communication skills (English & Spanish a plus) Proficient in Microsoft office, timekeeping & scheduling software Able to work evenings and weekends when necessary Reliable, self-motivated, professional Preferred : Paid vacation time Health, dental & vision insurance Paid time off Year-round work

The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial painting, be knowledgeable in coatings, the painting project sequence, and be experienced in leading teams.
