Job descriptionAbility to travel up to 90% with reliable, insured transportation. 2+ years of multifamily property management experience , with proven leadership skills. Strong communication and decision-making abilities with a high sense of urgency and ownership. Proficiency in AppFolio or similar property management software. Experience overseeing leasing performance, collections, budgeting, and vendor coordination. Confidence navigating challenging resident situations and inspiring team excellence. A natural problem solver and people-first leader with a passion for community impact. Willingness to roll up your sleeves and jump into any task—big or small. Travel to various DLP multifamily communities to step in as an interim Community Manager, offering consistent leadership, structure, and execution. Set the tone each day by driving key priorities such as leasing strategies, resident engagement, occupancy goals, and team performance. Collaborate with on-site maintenance and service teams to ensure unit turns, work orders, and curb appeal are addressed promptly and professionally. Conduct daily walk-throughs of the property to ensure amenities, office, and grounds are clean, functional, and aligned with brand standards. Review financials and drive budget performance by managing expenses, analyzing revenue streams, and identifying areas for operational improvement. Lead, coach, and support on-site team members, ensuring accountability, team morale, and a culture of excellence. Handle resident concerns or escalations with empathy and efficiency, creating positive, long-lasting relationships. Support marketing efforts, resident retention strategies, and event planning to cultivate a thriving community atmosphere. Maintain compliance with all local regulations, Fair Housing guidelines, and internal SOPs.
