The Role : We are looking for a visionary Solutions Architect who has extensive experience within the VA ecosystem. This key role involves designing innovative solutions that integrate seamlessly into the VA's complex systems, ensuring they meet the high standards of functionality, security, and compliance required to serve our nation's veterans effectively.

Responsibilities :

• Lead architectural efforts for various projects within the VA, crafting solutions that are both innovative and pragmatic.
• Deeply understand and navigate the VA ecosystem, using this knowledge to design systems that improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define clear project scopes, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives.
• Assess and evaluate project risks and design solutions that mitigate these risks while maximizing resource efficiency and technology performance.
• Advocate for best practices in architecture methodologies and lead by example in implementing these practices across projects.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, with a strong portfolio of successful system implementations within the VA.
• Deep understanding of the VA ecosystem, including its operational, regulatory, and technological frameworks.
• Excellent technical, analytical, and project management skills.
• Ability to work closely with both IT and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into feasible, high-quality solutions.
• Experience with modern cloud technologies, enterprise software platforms, and a broad range of IT environments.

Preferred :

• Relevant advanced certifications in architecture and systems design (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Prior experience in leading large-scale transformation projects within the VA or similar federal agencies.

Location : This is a remote position, available to candidates across the U.S., including the District of Columbia.
