- Demonstrates the use of appropriate teaching techniques
- Demonstrates the use of appropriate testing and grading procedures including proper maintenance of grade books and any other appropriate record-keeping required
- Understands and is experienced in practices and procedures necessary to effectively teach the subject matter
- Follows approved course syllabi
- Completes all documentation related to assigned courses in a timely manner
- Maintains an accurate inventory of all assigned property
Day, evening and online classes may be available based on scheduling needs.
Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university in Economics. Appropriate degree must reflect the requirements of the College’s accrediting agency.
The successful candidate may also hold a Master’s degree in a related field provided they have also completed at least 18 graduate semester hours (or equivalent quarter hours) in the program of study.
Requires strong computer skills, communication skills, and ability to interact effectively with a diverse student population.
Position may require day / evening / distance learning classes and activities. Position may involve courses at Dual Enrollment Academies or High School sites.
The successful candidate must be willing to work teaching shifts that might require split teaching days, and / or multiple campuses.
