The Controls Engineer analyzes customer requirements and specifications, performs electrical design of controls and power distribution, writes and tests PLC and HMI programs, and tests control hardware and systems.
Job Responsibilities :
- Plan, write, test, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs using company standard methods and conventions.
- Design and integrate machine safety and industrial network infrastructures.
- Perform in-house testing on control components and systems, as well as equipment tests at customer sites upon request.
- Investigate equipment failures and operational difficulties to diagnose faults and provide recommendations to manufacturing staff.
- Complete all necessary Project Development paperwork and generate meaningful project control documentation.
- Program all control components including PLC, safety devices, HMI, servo drives, process hardware, and robots, from power-on to debug, and through process fine tuning and validation.
Qualifications :
- Ideally 5+ years of experience, open to Jr. level candidates
