Job descriptionProvide daily ileostomy care , including pouch changes, stoma observation, skin protection, and output documentation. Perform urinary catheter care , including maintenance, irrigation (if ordered), and infection-prevention practices. Monitor and document vital signs, intake and output, and patient condition; promptly report any changes to the RN Supervisor or physician. Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders. Educate the patient and family on ostomy and catheter care, signs of infection, and hygiene best practices. Maintain strict infection-control and safety protocols in accordance with AHCA and agency policy. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated, quality care. Accurately complete and submit required documentation for each shift.
