Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound / Sonography Technologist to become part of a passionate team of imaging professionals committed to delivering outstanding patient care. You will utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to execute diagnostic procedures, partner with a roster of encouraging clinicians, and help provide peace of mind through precise imaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct an assortment of ultrasound examinations, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures while explaining steps in an empathetic manner
  • Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure the production of high-caliber diagnostic images
  • Supervise and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any operational issues
  • Meticulously document procedures and adhere to patient record-keeping within the electronic medical records system
  • Continuously stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging and best practices

Education Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
  • Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred
  • Required Certifications

  • Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
