Description :

Birch Agency is hiring a School Social Worker to join our team for the 20252026 school year . This position is located near Lockport, Illinois , and involves working with an elementary-level caseload .

Position Details :

Full-time, school-based position

Elementary caseload

Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to provide social-emotional and behavioral support

Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and support students overall well-being

Requirements :

Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement

Experience working with elementary students preferred

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Compensation :

Starting at $45 per hour , based on experience
