Role Overview :

The Senior Accountant will manage the general ledger and key accounting functions while supporting the organization's financial strategy. Key responsibilities include :

Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close

Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to guide business decisions

Assist with audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries

Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and process improvements

Collaborate with the Controller and leadership team on financial reporting and strategy

Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

4+ years of progressive accounting experience

Strong knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
