Job Description

The HVAC Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs and rebuilds on all mechanical equipment.

This position requires a vast knowledge of ERU’s, heat pump systems, electrical, plumbing, pumps, VFD’s and the ability to troubleshoot all systems.

Qualifications

Education & Experience :

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related building environment
  • 10 plus years of HVAC experience in a large building
  • Ability to access high areas using a ladder
  • Vocational / technical training or apprenticeship
  • High school diploma.
  • Trade school for HVAC

Physical requirements :

  • Extended periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs, crouching / kneeling, bending and twisting
  • Carrying / lifting up to 100lbs
  • Repetitive motion
  • Talking / communicating / listening
