Job Description
The HVAC Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs and rebuilds on all mechanical equipment.
This position requires a vast knowledge of ERU’s, heat pump systems, electrical, plumbing, pumps, VFD’s and the ability to troubleshoot all systems.
Qualifications
Education & Experience :
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related building environment
- 10 plus years of HVAC experience in a large building
- Ability to access high areas using a ladder
- Vocational / technical training or apprenticeship
- High school diploma.
- Trade school for HVAC
Physical requirements :
- Extended periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs, crouching / kneeling, bending and twisting
- Carrying / lifting up to 100lbs
- Repetitive motion
- Talking / communicating / listening
