CNC Milling Machine Operator / Machinist 2nd Shift (Nights)

While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.

• Preferred experience with Horizontal Machining Center
• Preferred experience with Siemen Controls and / or Fanuc Controls
• Understand the speeds and feeds pertaining to the machine they are operating (where applicable)
• Knowledge of all measuring instruments and gages for their operation
• Working knowledge in manufacturing and quality processes and principles
• Able to understand and maintain machine complements (when applicable)
• LOTO certified
• Understanding of cutting tools (and offset geometry)
• Thorough understanding of SPC knowledge & mathematical skills
• Perform first piece verification process per part number
• Ability to Perform Autonomous Maintenance
• Assists in set up and operation of all standard & specialized machines
• Assists in machine set up
• Responsible for setting up N / C machine, loading correct program, verifying material size, loading parts onto machine table inspecting parts for quality, using computer to log into MRP for run times, making tooling, loading of cutters per N / C set up book, Editing programs
• Tools required for incoming operators : MANTADORY
• Micrometers
• Calipers
• Indicators
• Radius Gauges
• Basic Qualifications :
• 1 year of CNC experience Required

Pay : $20.23 - $30.00 per hour
