We are supporting our client in the insurance industry in their search for an experienced and dedicated Level 2 Desktop Support Specialist to join their team in Anoka, MN. This is a fully onsite contract role focused on providing high-quality technical support, where the emphasis is on service excellence and thorough resolution rather than ticket volume.
You'll be part of a small, collaborative IT team but will handle your own day-to-day tasks—providing both remote and in-person support to end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive technical support and break / fix resolution for Windows 11 systems, hardware, and software.
- Manage and track incidents through ServiceNow.
- Perform system imaging and deployment using Intune.
- Deliver remote assistance via BeyondTrust.
- Handle asset management and hardware inventory.
- Support new hire onboarding, including laptop setup and access configuration.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, prioritizing quality over quantity.
Qualifications
5+ years of IT or Desktop Support experience (Level 2 preferred).Strong customer service and communication skills.Proficient with ServiceNow, Windows 11 troubleshooting, and hardware diagnostics.Hands-on experience with Intune imaging and BeyondTrust remote tools.TIA+ or CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or equivalent experience).Fully onsite – 5 days per week in Anoka, MN.Small, co-located IT team (4 members) – this person will manage their own workload independently.Opportunity for long-term growth with potential extension or full-time conversion.If you're a dependable IT professional who takes pride in delivering thorough, high-quality support, we'd love to connect with you.
