Summary

We are looking for an experienced Swimming Pool Repair Technician to join a family-owned pool repair and renovation business. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various pool systems for residential clients. Emphasis is on work quality, customer service, and technical knowledge. The company offers a 4-day work week, benefits, and a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose issues with in-ground pool and spa systems.

Install or replace pumps, motors, valves, plumbing; handle heater and heat pump installation and repair.

Repair and troubleshoot salt chlorination and automation systems.

Perform drain & clean operations, acid washes, post-renovation start-ups.

Install and troubleshoot lighting (LED, incandescent, nicheless).

Communicate clearly with customers and office staff; work independently when needed.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience in swimming pool equipment repair and diagnostics.

In-depth knowledge of pool equipment brands (e.g. Pentair, Hayward, Jandy) and pool chemistry.

Clean driving record; valid driver’s license.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

Compensation & Schedule

Starting salary : From $50,000 / year (hourly, depending on experience)

Full-time position

4-day work week, with occasional 5th day or Saturday if needed

Weekends and holidays generally off when possible
