Job description

We are currently looking for a family nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our primary care practice in Hurst, TX

  • Comprehensive Family Medicine : Care for patients across the lifespan, from 3 months old through geriatrics, including annual visits, vaccinations, and sports physicals.
  • Structured, Manageable Volume

See a maximum of 24 patients per day with dedicated time slots : 45 min for new patients, 30 min for established, and 15 min for routine visits.

  • Robust Support Team : Work with a 1 : 1 Medical Assistant ratio and dedicated support from a Quality Care Manager, Referral Coordinator, and experienced office staff.
  • Balanced M-F Schedule & Call

    • M-Tr 9-12 (last appointment is 11 : 45), 2 hour mid day break run over, rep lunch, admin, patient care 2-5 (last appointment 4 : 45); Friday the 9-3 (last appt 1 : 45) straight with no break. After hours the call is telephone only.

  • In-Office Procedures

    • Opportunity to utilize procedural skills, including ear washes, sutures, and toenail removal.

    Qualifications :

  • Board certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant
  • Active Texas license or ability to obtain
  • 1+ year of experience in an urgent care or a primary care setting preferred
  • Open to stellar new graduates
  • Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
