We have a great opportunity with a dynamic and well-funded marketing agency dedicated to providing premium marketing solutions to clients.

They are looking for a skilled sales professional to join the team as Director of Business Development. The primary responsibilities of this role will include leading the account team and driving new business for the agency.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience identifying new business opportunities, negotiating deals, and a proven track record of successful collaboration in a team environment.

This is an on-site role in Greenville, SC.

ESSENTIAL DUTES & FUNCTIONS :

  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of new clients.
  • Stay up to date on marketing industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and requirements.
  • Oversee account budgets, ensuring that the agency’s work aligns with the client’s expectations.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell marketing tactics and services to existing clients.
  • Lead and oversee the account team, ensuring cohesive and consistent communication to clients in an organized manner.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with at least 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
  • Strong working knowledge of what goes into successful marketing campaigns and brand development.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (preferably HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
