As a Career Preparation Instructor at NHJC, you will be pivotal in shaping our students' futures. Your coordination of courses, course delivery, and program activities will lead to full-time jobs, higher education, or advanced technical training.

What we are looking for

• Associate of Arts degree or 1-year related experience working with youth
• Valid in-state Driver’s license and meet Company insurability requirements
• Department of Labor approval required
• Ability to speak and read the English language

Job Corps is the country's largest nationwide residential career training program and has been operating for over 50 years.

The program helps eligible young people ages 16 through 24 complete their high school education, trains them for meaningful careers, and assists them with obtaining employment.

Job Corps has trained and educated over two million individuals since 1964.

At Job Corps, we believe in providing comprehensive support to our students. They can access rooms and boards while honing their skills in specific training areas for up to three years.

We help students complete their education, obtain career technical skills, and gain employment. We also provide transitional support services, such as finding employment, housing, child care, and transportation.

Job Corps graduates have a variety of paths to choose from, including entering the workforce or an apprenticeship, pursuing higher education, or joining the military.
