Description
We are currently seeking a Pricing and Reporting Analyst. This position is responsible for managing and executing the company markdown process.
Responsibilities also include analysis and reporting for store level performance and KPIs, improving visibility to lower level information, and assist in identifying opportunities at a location level.
Additionally, the Pricing and Reporting Analyst will accurately interrogate data, and distribute internally various weekly and monthly business reports to key business partners.
Responsibilities include :
- Analyze and interpret large volumes of data to ensure a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness for business leaders.
- Insures accuracy, adherence, execution, and compliance in regard to the company markdown methods and policy.
- Maximize current business by store location. Actions to include but not limited to, use of current business trends and analysis, volume groups, location, climate and / or other attributes.
- Leverage analytical insights to develop actionable items for improvement
- Perform other duties as required and / or assigned
Qualified candidates will possess :
- Solution based analytics and report development
- Strong analytic skills with a high attention to detail
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Team player with strong collaboration skills
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Ability to occasionally work varying hours
- Knowledge of off price retail preferred (not required)
Education and / or Experience :
- Degree in Computer Science or Business, or equivalent quantitative degree or experience
- Experience analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions
- Minimum of 2-4 years reporting experience as an analyst in a retail industry or equivalent experience involving store data
