The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics is seeking an HR Generalist / Employee Relations & Wage & Hour for a full-time position in Chattanooga, TN.
Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics is Chattanooga's leading provider of multi-specialty orthopaedic care since 1979.
We have 11 convenient locations in the Chattanooga, North Georgia and surrounding area. We offer advanced sports medicine, orthopaedics, surgery, physical and occupational therapy and sports training.

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for assisting the HR Director in human resource-related activities within the workplace.
The Human Resources Generalist will assist with employee relations and wage and hour regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance with the Department of Labor.
The position will be responsible for human resource matters, gathering, collecting, and maintaining documents and records required for policy development, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.
- Minimum of one year experience in healthcare human resources required.
- Experience with employee relations and / or wage and hour experience highly preferred.
- HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP OR SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
