What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or unauthorized access. Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel. Assist residents, staff, and visitors with security-related inquiries and directions as needed. Work collaboratively with local authorities and site personnel when required during incidents. Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents. Minimum Requirements : At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
