Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Manchester, New Hampshire.

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP :

Minimum Years of Experience : 2 years (Must have two years medsurg experience)

Traveler Experience : No first time travelers

Locals Accepted / Rate Difference : Travelers within 50 miles of facility will receive $15 rate decrease

Skills : Med / Surg, Feeding tube care and management, Peripheral Line Care / Management, starting IVs, Nasal Cannula, EPIC

Certs : BCLS

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP : CPI, MS / Tele

JOB DETAILS :

Target Ratios : 1 : 5-6

Shift : 12hr Nights 7p-7 : 30a. 36hrs accepted!

Call Requirement : None

Float Requirement : EOW, Floating Expectations

• Helping Hands / Team Nursing approach
• Will assist in being Floated to ICU, ED, and other Medsurg Units
• Patient Sitting You will not take a patient that does not match your clinical assignment or team

Weekend Requirement : EVERY OTHER WEEKEND REQUIRED.

RTO Requirements : Must work 2 / 3 major winter holidays. Unit cannot approve both 12 / 24 and 12 / 25 off if requested, only one day for Christmas permitted

End of Life

Oncology

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT : Bladder scanner

Stratus (interpreter)

Vein Viewer

Rectal probe monitor

Phillips vital signs

Relaxation room for staff with massage chair, quiet and peaceful room)

UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication) : Omnicell, EPIC, bedside standardized shift report

UNIT ORIENTATION : 36 hours - 1st day : tour, computer modules and then floor when finished. Day 2&3 - on floor with a nurse

SCRUBS : Any

Travelers are not considered if they have been a former employee at any facility associated with Solution Health regardless of length of separation or duration of time worked at health system
