Event Supervisor

Overview :
Apex Entertainment is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the planning and execution of all events, including birthday parties, corporate functions, fundraisers, and private gatherings. The Events Supervisor ensures every event runs smoothly from check-in to final payment, providing exceptional service to guests while managing a team in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Supervise the day-to-day operations of all scheduled events, including guest check-in, food and beverage service, and attraction coordination.
Manage and lead up to 20 event staff per shift, ensuring high performance and professional service delivery.
Maintain accurate Event Orders in the CenterEdge Group POS system; make real-time adjustments as needed.
Close out Event Orders and process payments with clients at the end of each event.
Simultaneously oversee multiple events in a high-volume, fast-paced setting while maintaining food quality, service standards, and safety compliance.
Communicate event details clearly and consistently to Food & Beverage and Attractions Managers throughout the day.
Remain informed and knowledgeable about all ongoing events to represent the Events Department effectively.
Proactively address and resolve guest issues or on-site challenges as they arise.
Serve as the on-site point of contact for all event-related guest interactions.
Handle staffing issues day-of, such as call-outs or shift adjustments.
Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations and report feedback and outcomes to the Events & Sales Manager.
Ensure all event elements (e.g., room setup, food and beverage service, attractions, décor) meet Apex standards and client expectations.
Deliver outstanding guest service and create memorable experiences.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required.
1-2 years of experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or event coordination.
Prior experience managing or supervising corporate, private, or special events is highly desirable.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Must be flexible with scheduling, including nights and weekends (weekend availability is required).
Reliable transportation or a valid driver's license is necessary.
